Field Service Technician

| European technology provider in the food industry, we search for our new service technician in the field (m/f/d) for the greater Frankfurt, Germany area To stand out from our competitors, customer service has the highest priority in order to be able to offer tailor-made solutions on-site and respond to our customer’s needs. Responsibility: • Offer a technician timely, professional technical service to customers food retailers & well-known supermarket chains (about 60% of the activity) • Replacement of spare parts and electrical accessories and help with the commissioning of client devices • Proper documentation and transmission of the work carried out • Take care of the initial installation/assembly, repair and execution of regular maintenance and repair work of complete fog systems • Help customer employees with the instruction, commissioning and functioning of the products and devices • Create online documentation of the service calls • Provide advice at trade fairs and other services • Have an unrestricted willingness to travel Becoming part of the team is worthwhile: • Your working day starts with your company car (also for private use) from home, so that you can go directly to your customer • You will be accompanied over the first few weeks and trained "on-the-job", and you will also be invited to the main headquarters (South of France) for training with colleagues for two weeks • You will be provided with modern and new means of communication and tools so that you can also give your best work • An attractive salary package awaits you • You’ll be encouraged and supported by further education and training measures. About you: • Have completed vocational training in the field of electrical engineering, industrial/plant mechanics and ideally already 2 years of professional experience as a service technician • Would like to help expand a new technical service in Germany and contribute your own ideas and experience • Have a pronounced customer/service orientation with a clear eye for the needs of your customers. • Can express yourself clearly and to the point and make technical formulations understandable even for the layman • Are an experienced PC user and are familiar with common Office programs • Current place of residence is in the greater Frankfurt area with good connections to the A5 motorway. • Are a prudent driver and have a category B driving licence. The company pays for flight to and from home country -The company shall pay each and every professional expense accordingly to the German labour agreement (meals & hotels). The package includes a Company Car (1% tax on base salary), professional tools & equipment, work clothes, computer and mobile.
