Agile Senior Business Analyst - Process Automation

The Agile Senior Business Analyst - Process Automation will be responsible for the maintenance and the coordination of future feature requests for several of the company’s internally developed software products, primarily with a focus on process automation related to treasury and accounting. The candidate will be working with an experienced Agile/Scrum global development team, taking process automation ideas from conception to end user delivery. This position allows the opportunity to work with varying technologies, such as MSSQL, Python, and Robotic Process Automation.

We are seeking career minded, experienced and motivated individuals for a full time position of Agile Senior Business Analyst - Process Automation in the Product Development department in our Sofia based office, with the opportunity for a hybrid work structure. Product Development is a department of Business Analysts of varying levels of experience working on customer facing and back end automation, internally developed software products. Product Development encourages career development, with company-sponsored certifications available.

Primary responsibilities (not limited to)

  • Creating logical and innovative solutions to complex business problems with a focus on process automation
  • Liaising with business to confirm needed changes to the system, and coordination when applying said changes
  • Documenting newly created solutions in Jira and Confluence
  • Writing business requirements documentation in user story format along with use cases for new feature requests
  • Preparing documentation on process flows and presenting them to business stakeholders when needed
  • Working closely with developers along with business stakeholders to ensure technical compatibility and end user satisfaction
  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

Requirements

  • Must have minimum 3 years’ experience in Business Analyst role
  • Must have minimum 1 year experience in Senior Business Analyst role or Project Manager role
  • Must have worked in an Agile or Waterfall environment
  • Must have extensive experience writing User Stories and business requirements documents
  • Must have experience with Jira and/or Confluence
  • Must have strong attention to detail
  • Must have strong organizational skills
  • Must be analytical with the capability to evaluate business objectives and come up with innovative solutions
  • Must be independent and a self-starter, the position requires working with remote staff
  • Must have excellent collaboration skills
  • Must have fluency in English, both written and verbal
  • Experience with MSSQL or Python is strongly preferred 
  • BA certification from IIBA, PMI or equivalent organization is strongly preferred
  • Experience in financial sector strongly preferred
  • Experience with process automation in Accounting and/or Finance/Treasury strongly preferred

Hours: 40 hours/week - Monday to Friday. Working hours/Shifts: 10am-7pm
