Job Specifics
Working as a Data Project Coordinator would entail working on a variety of data projects in support of the Data Science and Analytics team as well as the larger organization. While working in a supportive environment, you would have the opportunity to help drive real change in our efforts to use data to make smarter, more efficient, and impactful decisions.
Primary accountability (not limited to)
Understand the business context and objectives to ensure that new analytics projects are in line with the overall business strategy.
Create user stories, requirements specifications, technical documentation, acceptance criteria, and test cases.
Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to create, test, and deploy data products and assets.
Collect and analyze data to aid in the identification of new opportunities, the facilitation of opportunities proposed by other teams, and the evaluation of the success of implemented solutions.
Determine the key performance indicators that will be used to assess the success of data science and analytics initiatives.
Collaborate closely with the Data Science, Business Intelligence, and Data Warehousing teams. Share knowledge and expertise with other team members to allow for ongoing team skill development.
Other tasks and assignments as assigned by Management Requirements
Extensive experience with analytical solutions
Excellent knowledge of data science and analytics concepts and techniques
3+ years of experience working with SQL and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is required, as is experience with JIRA and Confluence or any project management software program.
Outstanding communication and presentation abilities; Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
Strong desire to learn new analytical techniques and skills
Self-motivated and capable of working alone
Capable of working effectively with international personnel; Intuitive, analytical mind with strong problem-solving abilities
Capable of dealing with ambiguity when defining activities and goals

Outstanding written and spoken English skills
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
