CRM Business Analyst

Job Description:

Note, the position is remote during the Covid period.
 
As Operations Business Analyst - Salesforce, you will be trusted to aid smooth implementation of Salesforce enhancements through sound analysis, thorough design and testing, excellent communication, and robust documentation. Emphasis will be on working with internal SMEs/Managers/Developers on developing new and improving existing workflows and functionalities.
Primary responsibilities (not limited to):
  • Collaborate with business subject matter experts to assess business processes and identify opportunities for process transfer or optimization to increase efficiencies and reduce operational risk
  • Master customization and automation functions to enable the company to provide outstanding client service
  • Provide team training on CRM functions and enhancements to enable the team to translate complex data output, reporting, and business requirements into org's processes
  • Develop requirement specifications and user acceptance testing strategies for solutions within Salesforce
  • Design, build, test, and deploy enhancements using industry best practices
  • Work closely with developers along with business to ensure technical compatibility and end user satisfaction
  • Work closely with QA and UA testing teams to ensure new and existing functionality is properly implemented
  • Prepare and maintain documentation on process flows and projects
  • Develop user guides/manuals and training materials
  • Provide peer-to-peer best practice sharing
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience as a software business analyst or relevant
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Experience working in a dynamic Agile project delivery environment
  • Willingness to learn/grow with Salesforce's ever-changing environment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, determine priorities, and follow up in a timely fashion
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal
Preferred Experience:
  • Business Process Optimization/Management experience strongly preferred
  • Hands-on experience administering and developing Salesforce instances and working with Salesforce related apps is a plus
  • Prior experience in a financial services role
  • Engineering or programming background
  • Experience in managing a small team is a plus
