-About the Company
An international logistics and supply chain company is expanding its finance operations in Sofia and seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Team Lead. This is a key leadership role within a growing finance structure, ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic, process-driven environments and wants to play a part in building a high-performing shared services team.

-Responsibilities

Lead and support a team of Accounts Payable Specialists and Clerks

Allocate daily workload and ensure timely, accurate execution of tasks

Train, guide, and develop team members through regular feedback and support

Oversee invoice processing, expense reports, and vendor payments

Resolve payment discrepancies and handle complex queries

Contribute to month-end and year-end closing processes

Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and VAT regulations

Generate and analyze AP-related reports and dashboards

Recommend and implement process enhancements

Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders

-Requirements

4–5 years of experience in accounts payable or finance

At least 2 years in a team lead or supervisory role

Strong understanding of AP processes, accounting principles, and internal controls

Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar ERP

Advanced Excel and data reporting skills

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities

-Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a shared services or multinational environment

Familiarity with automation tools such as Concur, Coupa, or Tipalti

Understanding of logistics operations or supply chain finance processes

Knowledge of local and international tax regulations (e.g., VAT)
