Vice President - Retention Marketing

Job Opportunity: 

Overview: Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Customer Relations, this role is critical in spearheading our client's worldwide customer retention and engagement strategy. You will be instrumental in crafting and implementing innovative strategies aimed at boosting customer loyalty, satisfaction, and advocacy. This role demands leadership over a talented team, deep knowledge in marketing techniques such as segmentation, personalization, and multi-channel engagement, and proficiency in performance analysis and digital analytics. This position is a fixed-term contract for 12 months.

Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead the development of our customer retention marketing plan, in partnership with sales, product development, and brand communications teams, to ensure coordinated efforts in promoting new offerings, conducting customer research, and maximizing brand content.
  • Daily analysis of performance dashboards to align team efforts with business objectives, rapidly addressing any performance gaps or capitalizing on emerging opportunities.
  • Establish and maintain standards for multi-channel marketing excellence and dynamic content creation within the team.
  • Promote efficiency and automation, recommending new processes and tools to streamline team operations.
  • Track and evaluate key retention indicators to guide the strategy for ongoing customer engagement initiatives.
  • Work closely with data science to develop targeted segmentation and personalization tactics.
  • Collaborate with insights teams to generate comprehensive reports tracking revenue and engagement metrics.
  • Continuously assess and refine retention marketing strategies based on data-driven insights.
  • Ensure all initiatives reflect our client’s brand voice and comply with legal standards and industry practices.
  • Plan and prioritize quarterly activities, considering team capacity and resource needs, with a constant push for innovation in customer engagement.

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with trading, betting, or cryptocurrency sectors is preferred.
  • Proven leadership experience, including team development and mentorship.
  • Startup experience is beneficial.
  • A commitment to innovation and content dynamism.
  • Experience at a Head of Department or Senior Management level.
  • Proven track record in developing effective marketing strategies and operational plans.
  • Proficient in leveraging various marketing channels, including email and social media.
  • Self-motivated, with a strong focus on data and return on investment.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with senior management.
  • Skilled in churn reduction, enhancing customer lifetime value, and building long-term relationships.
  • Loyalty program management experience is a plus.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Work Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. The position requires office attendance for 3 days each week.
