Our client is a Fortune 500 company who finance, manage and develop projects for the private and public sectors across the world. Currently looking for talented individuals to join their highly skilled teams in Kuwait, Camp Arifjan.
Responsible for the oversight of production and supervision of a multi-skilled workforce.
 

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:  Responsible for the Supervision of Mechanics
Manages the maintenance branch and all maintenance actions.
Monitors maintenance actions to identify causes of delays, including repair parts supply status.
Monitors high priority work orders to ensure timely maintenance.
Recommends corrective actions to the Logistics/Maintenance Manager.
Ensures proper training is provided for branch personnel.
Conducts maintenance meetings. Provides maintenance status.
Advises supervisors on maintenance procedures.
Responsible for establishing and modifying branch procedures and policies tailored to the local needs and the quality of services provided.
Authorized to make operational decisions, including reallocating resources or reorganizing to meet changes in requirements. Ensures sufficient parts, materials, tools, equipment, and resources are available to meet contract requirements.
Responsive to mission requirements and changes thereto.
Ensures training, quality, safety, and environmental programs meet or exceed standards.
Ensures proper safety equipment, i.e. safety helmets, eye protection, hearing protection, gloves, safety shoes, etc., are used and appropriate.
Responsible for scheduling leaves, maintaining time and attendance records, maintaining equipment schedules and logs, counseling employees on minor problems, resolving minor problems and complaints and making recommendations on appraisals, promotions, awards, and disciplinary actions.
Ensures compliance with safety, fire prevention, and occupational health regulations, directives, and laws.
Prevents fraud, waste and abuse.
Accountable for all government and company property that is required, received, stored, and used.
Hires and terminates subordinates. Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EXPERIENCE:  Five years experience in managing maintenance programs. Must have knowledge of various military vehicles.
EDUCATION: High school graduate or equivalent. Associates Degree or higher very desirable.
 
Specialized knowledge and skills:
- Must be able to work effectively with all levels of employees, including top, middle and supervisory levels of management.

Additional requirements:
- Must be a passport holder of a NATO member country.
