Sales Associate – FX & Derivatives (initially as an Intern for max 6 months or less)

Our client is a leader in the rapidly expanding field of online currency trading services for retail and institutional traders. The firm operates out of Plano, San Francisco, London, Paris, Hong Kong and Sydney.

We are seeking career minded and independent individuals for the position of Sales Associate – FX & Derivatives.   
Develop your skills as an up-and-coming salesperson with a desire to excel at one of the world’s largest online FX brokers. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside our FX Brokers based in our brand new and thriving Bulgarian office.

This is initially an internship, show your competence, speed of learning and sales acumen and you will be promoted to permanent as soon as appropriate. (Maximum 6 months as an intern).

What You Should Expect:
  • Working UK-hours, you will be a primary point of contact for our UK/Ireland based clients
  • To attain and in-depth knowledge of how the Forex market works both from the perspective of a client but also from an insider’s perspective working at one of the world’s largest Forex brokerages
  • Self-manage outbound call campaigns in order to provide added value services to existing and new customers
  • Go beyond "customer service." Skillfully probe for, listen, and understand client needs to provide resources and solutions to improve clients' trading experience and results
  • Intelligently articulate financial and market-related concepts as well as our client products and services
  • Mediate a variety of situations, conversations and customers with composure and professionalism
  • Consistently take initiative to learn about the markets, FX industry and new platforms and products
  • Be a team player and proactively collaborate with the sales and Financial Services Team to manage time, resources, volume, and customer feedback 
  • Consistently achieve departmental and individual metrics
Principal Duties & Responsibilities ( including but not limited to ) :
  • Engage in warm sales calls with those that have already applied for an account but not funded it. Discuss funding options and the service levels available at our client base
  • Reach out to demo account users that have voluntarily provided their contact information and are expecting a call  Gauge their interest in our client and opening a live account. Use your taught sales abilities to intelligently bring them from demo trading to live trading. No Cold Calling
  • Work proficiently with teammates around the globe handling passed online chats for customers within the United Kingdom looking to learn more about our services
  • Articulate advantages with an in-depth familiarity of the product and common rebuttals or inquiries that clients may have
  • Comfortably interact with our clients and leads to direct them towards educational materials and trading setups for currencies, stock market indices and commodity markets
  • Support clients and prospects via email and phone, identify sales prospects and interact with sales representatives to facilitate account openings
  • Display an ability to up sell and cross-sell customers in a soft-sales, tactful manner
  • Participate in various trading/education packages tailored towards our end clients and further your understanding of financial markets and how to trade them
  • Become a residential expert on several specific topics, to be used as part of the value added services metrics, you will be in charge of a weekly webinar and asked to directly contribute to the content of our weekly seminar session
Critical Knowledge, Skills & Experience
  • Excellent English both written and verbal – Fluent or Native 
  • Strong and demonstrable Sales or customer service experience (b2b / b2c / phones / face to face / door to door);
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Passion for FX markets including being able to understand/interpret and communicate in layman’s terms certain market jargon
  • The ability to prepare market reports/reviews and trade ideas as per guidance from the trading analysts. Intermediate Microsoft Word/Excel
  • The ability to identify sales opportunities and pass them on to the Sales team
  • Ability to use Excel to run various statistical analysis
  • Strong MS Office skills
