Position: Assists the Facility Manager

Essential Responsibilities:
1) Assists the Facility Manager in interfacing with government officials, company personnel, and subcontractors/vendors.
2) Ensures compliance of property management contracts according to the Statement of Work (SOW) and company policies, procedures, and practices.
3) Arranges for the performance of various services (e.g., locksmith, cleaning, etc.) for the customer by utilizing appropriate subcontractors and vendors.
4) Guides, directs, coordinates, evaluates, and arranges for the acceptance, transportation, storage, maintenance, delivery, set-up and disposition of property consigned by the IRS utilizing company and subcontractor facilities and/or resources according to policies and procedures.
5) Assists in identifying and evaluating potential subcontractors. Processes solicitations, RFPs, and obtains bids from subcontractors/vendors. Coordinates property management contracts with local vendors. Develops SOWs for subcontracts and vendors and formulates and processes Purchase Orders. Approves and ensures accuracy of subcontractor invoicing by reviewing and resolving any discrepancies.
6) Assists in performing subcontractor facility and performance evaluations and trains and evaluates subcontractors.
7) Assists in conducting property oversight audits/evaluations and physical inventories.
8) Investigates adverse incidents, complaints, and claims and submits appropriate reports.
9) Assists in overseeing and/or conducting evaluation of property/merchandise designated pending sale. Prepares property for sale and ensures timely delivery of property to required sale location. Lots and displays merchandise for efficient and effective marketing for sales.
10) Monitors and analyzes the automated information system and prepares and prints reports as required.
11) Provides property management and service recommendations to the customer. Coordinates any special property management/service requirements with government officials.
Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent training/experience; 3 years of related experience; excellent analytical and communication skills, and a valid driver's license. Position may require travel. Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.

Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:
Typical office environment with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting to 20 pounds, constant sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must possess planning/organizing skills, and must be able to work under deadlines.
